Nanette Brown

Mom of 7 | 30+ Years of Parent Coaching

Specialties: Littles (0-5) + Elementary (K-5th)

Nanette Brown has been teaching Parent Education for the past 31 years in La Canada and now in Mission Viejo. Her educational background is in education and child development with a degree from Cal Poly SLO & Cal State LA and taught at Pasadena High School before starting her own family. She is the mother of 7 (3 boys & 4 girls) and now the grandmother of 7.

Most importantly, she says that all she really knows came from “the school of hard knocks” raising her own, diverse personality children. Her passion as both a mother and an instructor has been to encourage parents in their attachment with each of their children and being intentional with their goals as a family.

Nanette has seen that being a student of each of your children is a time-consuming and highly rewarding ingredient of healthy parenting. Marriage, co-parenting and family life can be very challenging. Nanette considers it a great privilege to walk alongside parents as they discover what is best for their family and learn to be intentional as parents.

Paige Dunbar

Paige Dunbar is a parent educator with Parent Well who is passionate about encouraging and equipping parents with practical tools to build strong, healthy families. For more than 15 years, she has had the privilege of walking alongside parents, creating a welcoming environment where they feel supported, understood, and empowered as they navigate each stage of raising children.

Paige earned a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and holds a California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential with a Bilingual (BCLAD) Authorization. While her professional background is in education, her greatest lessons have come through her own parenting journey. She has been married to her husband for 30 years and is the grateful mother of three wonderful adult children, whose lives continue to remind her that parenting is both one of life's greatest joys and one of its greatest opportunities for growth.

Paige especially enjoys helping parents of tweens and teens navigate the unique challenges of these formative years. Drawing from current research, practical strategies, and real-life experience, she encourages parents to strengthen communication, foster resilience, establish healthy boundaries, and nurture lasting family relationships. She believes that while parenting is never perfect, no parent is meant to do it alone, and she is honored to come alongside families with encouragement, hope, and practical guidance every step of the way.

Moshelle Carlson

Moshelle Carlson is an elementary school counselor with the Saddleback Valley Unified School District, where she spends her days helping children navigate big feelings, friendships, and the occasional playground drama. She earned her bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Psychology from the University of Texas and holds a Master of Science in School Counseling, along with a Pupil Personnel Services Credential, from National University.
